01 Challenge

Executive leaders and governing boards needed to stay aligned across countries, time zones, meetings, and organizational priorities within a network spanning 40+ countries and two regional offices.

02 Approach

Create structure around board planning, leadership communication, meeting logistics, documentation, and follow-through so leaders had the information and coordination needed to govern effectively.

03 Contribution

Coordinated three annual meetings for the 12-member International Board, supporting agendas, board materials, minutes, travel, logistics, and follow-up. Also supported the 6-member Canada Board and additional global leadership groups through the CEO’s office.

Helped create consistent, organized board and executive operations across a geographically distributed organization, strengthening coordination between governance, executive leadership, and global teams.

Personnel information for a global workforce across 40+ countries lived largely in spreadsheets and manual processes, creating redundancy, increasing the risk of input errors, and making global personnel movement harder to track and report.

02 Approach

Strengthen personnel data management by digitizing workflows, improving record consistency, and supporting the transition of personnel information and processes into Salesforce for more reliable tracking and reporting.

03 Contribution

Maintained and improved records for a 500+ person global workforce, supported data migration and process improvements, and strengthened tracking of personnel movement, assignments, and status across regions — including information critical to personnel serving in higher-risk contexts.

04 Impact

Improved visibility into the global personnel body, giving leadership more reliable information for reporting, trend analysis, and decision-making while enabling more responsive support for personnel and regional teams.

Educators, host schools, regulatory requirements, and internal systems all have to line up for each participant — at a scale of 1,000+ educators and 450+ schools.

02 Approach

Focus on clearer documentation and processes, consistent participant communication, travel validation, cross-cultural support, and close coordination with schools and internal teams.

03 Contribution

Manage participant onboarding, SEVIS validation, travel authorization, monthly check-ins, cultural reporting, transfers, and end-of-program processes. Serve as a key point of coordination between international educators, host schools, partners, and internal teams.

04 Impact

Strengthen alignment between GEC, host schools, and international educators throughout the placement experience — creating a smoother experience for teachers and schools while supporting successful placements and program compliance.

The Carl Spain Center advanced educational programming, community engagement, events, dialogue, and partnerships connected to its organizational mission.

02 Contribution

Supported organization-wide operations spanning programming, events, communications, digital presence, and stakeholder engagement. Managed website updates and social media marketing, coordinated and hosted events, facilitated think tank sessions, hosted event presentations and public-facing programming, supported organizational partnerships, helped oversee a $50K budget, and supervised five interns.

Helped strengthen the Center’s operational foundation, programming, and public engagement, contributing to a 40% increase in engagement while improving coordination across programs, events, communications, and stakeholder-facing initiatives.

Providence is working to grow its visibility, strengthen donor and stakeholder involvement, and reduce reliance on inconsistent funding while building a more sustainable path toward long-term community impact.

02 Approach

Build the foundational systems for growth — strengthening digital presence, donor engagement, and organizational visibility while exploring recurring giving, partnerships, donor retention, and sustainable development strategies.

03 Contribution

Developed Providence’s website and digital presence while helping build systems for donor and stakeholder engagement. Alongside this work, developed sustainability recommendations and a performance dashboard to support planning, fundraising, and organizational growth.

Created stronger foundations for Providence to communicate its mission, engage supporters, and develop lasting donor relationships while helping establish a clearer pathway toward sustainable growth and greater community impact.
